COVID Relief Grants for Emergency Response Providers

COVID Relief Grants for Ambulance Services Providers:

The State of Alabama will provide funding to licensed ambulance services providers via a pro rata distribution of the remaining funds in the Emergency Services Providers program. The Ambulance Services Provider Grants are to support providers that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The distribution of funds for this program is being administered by the Alabama Department of Finance.

The funds will be awarded to ambulance services providers licensed by the Alabama Department of Public Health proportional to the number of licensed ambulance vehicles which participated in the Emergency Services Providers Grant Program in Summer, 2022 and which are not an agency or department of a city, county, state, or federal government.

The application period for the Alabama Emergency Services Provider Grant Program will be open from noon, January 4, 2023, through noon, January 27, 2023.

Total approved disbursements will be awarded to eligible applicants. The Alabama Emergency Services Provider Grants are to support providers that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The application process for this grant program is being administered by the Alabama Department of Finance.

The application period for the Alabama Emergency Services Provider Grant Program will be open from noon April 27 through noon May 13, 2022.

Eligible applicants for this grant program are volunteer rescue squads, E-911 Boards, and emergency services providers which are not an agency or department of a city, county, state, or federal government.

The State of Alabama will offer grants in an amount up to $10,320 for Volunteer Fire Departments that meet eligibility requirements. Total approved disbursements will be awarded to eligible applicants. The Alabama Volunteer Fire Department Grants are to support Volunteer Fire Departments that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The application process for this grant program is being administered by the Alabama Department of Finance.

The application period for the Alabama Volunteer Fire Department Grant Program will be open from noon March 7, 2022 through noon March 25, 2022.
